Born in Colorado Springs, CO
Family from Oklahoma - lived there 'til the age of 10
Moved to Coral Gables, graduated from Coral Gables High
Attended Florida Southern College, met and married Ed Barton
Lived in Clermont, FL 38 years
Exhibited in juried sidewalk art festivals for 23 years doing original,
hand-pulled etchings, many of which were multiple plate.
Gallery owner - HOPE BARTON FINE ARTS & GIFTS in
Clermont, FL from 1998 to 2002.
Transition from etching to monotypes to acrylic painting -etchings
became hand-colored with watercolor.
Demonstrated at Arts in the Garden, Epcot, for 7 years.

Served as juror for many shows
