Hope's Art Journey

  This is the etching plate created to print "Hunting Quail" , an etching with an edition of 18 original, hand-pulled etchings.  I created this plate in the early 80's.  It is a collage of the German Shorthair Pointers that gave us so much joy as hunters and pets.  It is inked with black ink and coated with varnish for protection.  The framing will be a mount in a Larsen Juhl shadowbox frame.   I will be posting more images as my show approaches.  The show is called "The Best of 30 Years and will include etchings, etching plates, monotypes and acrylic paintings.  In [...]
